On April 10, 2023, the Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Azerbaijan Rustam Soli met with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev, who is also the co-chairman of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan, the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan reports.
During the meeting, issues related to holding the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, the process of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level, and bilateral documents, as well as expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, transport and transit and other areas were discussed.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on organizing meetings of experts from the two countries, attracting Azerbaijani companies to participate in the creation of joint ventures in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
