National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on Monday held a telephone conversation, during which issues of bilateral cooperation were considered. As part of the conversation, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and the President of the Republic of Tajikistan discussed issues of preparation for events of the highest regional level, including the summits of the consultative meeting of the heads of state of Central Asia and the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea, which will be held in September 2023 in Dushanbe.
In addition, the parties also discussed the results of the state visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Tajikistan, which took place on May 10-11 this year.
As a result of negotiations between the Presidents of Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, a package of bilateral documents was signed .
