In phone talk with Russian president, Armenia PM stresses addressed response from Russia


Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia had a telephone conversation with President Vladimir Putin of Russia, Armenian News-NEWS.am learns from the PM’s office.

During the telephone conversation, the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) resulted by Azerbaijan’s illegal blockade of the Lachin corridor was discussed. In this context, Prime Minister Pashinyan referred to the terrorist act carried out by Azerbaijan in Nagorno-Karabakh on March 5 and its consequences. In the context of overcoming the crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh, the PM of Armenia attached importance to the addressed response of Russia.

The sides exchanged views also on the process of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations.

Matters related to the implementation of the trilateral statements of the leaders of Armenia, Russia, and Azerbaijan of November 9, 2020, January 11, and November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022 were discussed, too.
