On April 11, at the Republican Center for Immunoprophylaxis, Deputy Minister of Health and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan Abdukholik Amirzoda met with the Ambassador of the United States of America to Tajikistan, Manuel Micaller. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the ministry and USAID in Tajikistan, the ministry’s press service reported.
During the meeting, the current state of cooperation between the two countries, especially in the field of healthcare, was discussed.
It was noted that within the framework of mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries, cooperation in the field of healthcare is well established. In particular, in this direction, a number of programs for the prevention of various diseases are operating in the country.
Then the guests visited a special warehouse of the Republican Immunoprophylaxis Center, where vaccines are stored.
