Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan Mukhtar Babayev held a meeting with Tajik Ambassador to Baku Rustam Soli.
Babayev in April 2023 was appointed co-chairman from the Azerbaijani side of the intergovernmental commission (IGC) on economic cooperation with Tajikistan.
“During the meeting, issues related to holding the next meeting of the IGC, the process of implementing the agreements reached at the highest level, expanding bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, transport and transit and other spheres were discussed,” reports Interfax- Azerbaijan” with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan.
In addition, Babayev and Soli exchanged views on the issue of attracting Azerbaijani companies to participate in the creation of joint ventures in Tajikistan.
