AKIPRESS.COM – Ambassador of Tajikistan to Germany Imomudin Sattorov visited the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein on January 18 to expand ties with the northern regions of Germany, the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan reports.
Imomudin Satorov met with Prime Minister of Schleswig-Holstein Daniel Gunther in Kiel city.
The parties discussed further strengthening of relations between Tajikistan and Schleswig-Holstein, especially in the areas of economics, renewable energy, science and education, culture and migration.
At the meeting with Vice-President of the Christian Albrechts University of Kiel Ralf Schneider, the Ambassador discussed establishment of the inter-university ties, development and implementation of joint research projects in the field of water and glacier preservation, as well as student exchange.
The Ambassador also held discussions with Tajik students studying geography and geology at the university.
