482 Days of Ukraine War: Russia’s Air Strikes on the Front, but Also on Kiev and Lviv

Fighting is raging near Bakhmut and Zaporizhia, but Russia’s airstrikes are also aimed at Kiev and Lviv. Ukraine’s air defenses are apparently continuing to intercept many Russian drones.

Russia continues to attack Ukraine, mainly from the air – in addition to shelling the front in the east of the country, Lviv in the west on the border with Poland was also attacked.

Musician and TV sound engineer Ivan Shulga, who died as a volunteer at the front in Bakhmut, was buried in Kiev this Tuesday.

Mayor of Lviv speaks of only minor damage

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadowyi confirmed the air strikes on his city, but said there was only minor damage to infrastructure. He assumes that everything can be repaired quickly.

In the Donetsk and Zaporizhia regions, according to the Ukrainian troops, they gained territory.

The power struggle in Moscow between the Wagner boss and the Kremlin continues. Mercenary boss Yevgeny Prigozhin – should actually report his private army to the Ministry of Defense, but now he wants to recruit young men between 21 and 35 who know how to play video games. In the war in Ukraine, gamers are supposed to primarily operate drones, as reported by the Institute for the Study of War, citing Russian media.
